White Rabbit Swimwear was launched by it’s owner and designer, Larissa Bateman, in October 2017. The label is designed in Sydney and created in Bali.

White Rabbit came to fruition when Larissa decided to pursue swimwear design after studying at FBI Fashion College in Sydney where she completed her fashion business and design course in 2015.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own online store and from scratch create products that I absolutely love. Since I was a young girl, I would draw pictures of clothing, which I wanted to have made for me. It wasn’t until later in life that I realised I could turn this passion into a career. With hard work, determination and the support from my family, friends and my wonderful partner Kareem,
I could make this dream a reality.

“I wanted to create a swimwear line that was seamless. I wanted to produce swimwear that didn’t cut into the body and was flattering for the female form. Designing a reversible collection also meant my customers could achieve two different looks from one bikini. It was important that the collection was versatile, with pieces made purely for laying in the sun, leaving women with minimal tan lines and others that provided comfort and support.”

All the prints we use are made for White Rabbit Swimwear and are one of a kind. Our swimwear is constructed from ECONYL which is a recycled nylon. The nylon comes from fishing nets that have been dumped in our ocean by the fishing industry. These nets are responsible for killing all kinds of ocean life. By removing the nets and repurposing them into thick, long lasting, luxurious fabric we are doing the ocean a huge favour.

Our collections are very limited so make sure you’re quick!
